Michael R Martin

Unfortunately I have the sad task of passing on the news that long standing member Michael R Martin has passed away.

Michael served the railway for many years starting in the 1990's. He had held positions at board level in the Company and Committee level in the Society as well as involving himself in other railway tasks, e.g. guarding, restoration work, maintenance and many other useful tasks.

He also had formed West Wales Wagon Works selling 00 gauge wagons to the general public the Teifi Valley Railway being one of his outlets.

On behalf of the railway I would like to offer my condolences to his wife Jane, his family and those who were close to him.

God bless Michael. Respect.

I C McFadzean General Manager
